The diversity and dynamics in the score of the string quartets nrs 1, 10 and 11 by Peter Sculthorpe chosen for this work, incited and determined the choice of style for this choreography. From a secure spot the dancers explore their mutual as well as their immediate surroundings. At certain moments they form a harmonious unity, but they remain nevertheless separate and unique in spirit and sense.
